Mercury International Sports Betting and Lottery Company, on Wednesday April 22 2020, donated over hundreds of face masks to the Paramount Chief of Kroo-Bay, Pa Alimamy Kamara on behalf of the people of Kroobay Community as their humble support to the fight against Coronavirus in the country.

According to the company's Public Relations Manager, Alhaji Komba, the donated masks were produced with caution in line with the intended purpose, targeting the less privileged; both adults and children, as a further protection from the virus and should be used at all times in public places, as instructed by government.

"This quantity may be small, but it's the quality and fit for purpose that matters," Manager Komba stated, and called on the people not to use the masks just for the sake of it, but to use them properly with intended purpose in mind.

Receiving the masks, Pa Alimamy Kamara, thanked Mercury International for their continued support and help to their community and described the move as a 'timely gesture' coming immediately when needed.

"On behalf of my people, I say thank you to Mercury International, we appreciate this and we look forward to more donations from other well-meaning companies and organisations," he said.
