Mercury Shares Profit with Hennessy Street Community
On 2nd September 2025, the Mercury International Management and Retailers Charitable Foundation donated food items to the residents of Hennessy Street community, Kingtom.
Presenting the food items to the community people, the Public Relations Manager of the company, Alhaji Komba, said it is their usual procedure for the Management and Retailers’ Charitable Foundation to share their profits with customers and non-customers, adding that they have done similar donations to various communities and that today, it pleases them to do the same to the Kingtom Community.
Komba further stated that funding for the donation, like previous donations made to different communities across the city, is generated from a monthly profit derived from a joint managers and retailers account.
He, therefore, encouraged the people to continue patronising Mercury International by playing the different products of the company and becoming millionaires, and also stood to benefit from the monthly donations.
Komba, however, advised that Mercury games are only for customers 18 years and above.
Receiving the food items on behalf of the community, Madam Fatmata G. Lawo said they were overwhelmed to receive such a gesture from the management and retailers of Mercury International. She thanked them and further assured them that Mercury Sports Betting and Lottery will forever be their No. 1 in Sierra Leone.
Among the food items donated were bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, cartons of sardines, bags of onion, bundles of pure water and different types of provisions worth over Le17 million.
