Mercury International pays over NLe 6,000,000 to over 5000 Lotto winners on a single day

On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, Mercury International paid out over NLe 6,000,000 (Six Billion Old Leones) to a total of over 5,000 lotto winners across Sierra Leone.

It was another mass win for the Company’s lovely Lotto players who were all joyful after the early morning “Koinadugu Draw” produced popular winning balls; 18-81-33-31-21 Extra 6 & 7 51-82.
The Machine numbers were: 83-1-36-27-53, and it is so far the biggest lottery win paid out to customers for the year 2026 in one game.

According to the Mercury Lottery Department, the winning spanned from Super, Daily, Turbo 2,3,4, Turbo Boost 2, 3,4, Turbo Daily 2, 3, 4, P1 and P2.

Speaking with some of the winners who were at the Mercury International payment Centre at Walpole Street, in Freetown, they expressed delight and urged others to start betting with the company.

Abdulia, a 22-year-old Baker who won NLe 25,000 after betting with NLe 60 on multiple tickets. He said that the money he won would be used to add to his business and to pay his son’s fees.
Mustapha, a welder, won NLe 6,500 after betting NLe 2 on NAP2. He said he will use the money to boost his welding business and support his family.

A few days ago, the Sports Betting Company paid over 650 Million Leones to a single football (Bookmaker) winner- so far the highest winning on a football ticket this year.
On December 20, 2022, Mercury International paid out the sum of NLe 8,748,000 to 14,770 lotto winners across Sierra Leone.

The mass winnings came from the Monday, December 19, 2022, 6 pm “Daily Specials” draw, and it was the biggest-ever total lottery win for one game in the history of Sierra Leone.

As Baker wins Nle 546,000… Mercury International payout Nle 731,00 to a Football Betting Duo

Sierra Leone’s leading Sports Betting and Lottery Company, Mercury International, on Monday, October 6, 2025, paid out a total sum of Seven Hundred and Thirty-One Thousand New Leones to two lucky customers from its Football betting product.

One Mohamed A Jalloh – a Baker residing in Freetown was the big winner of the day as he walked away with a total sum of Five Hundred and Forty-Six Thousand New Leones (Nle 546,000).

Narrating his road to success to the press, Mohamed said he played a total of 31 teams from the Online Football Mega List, placing different combinations of bets of a total stake of Ten Thousand New Leones (NLe 10,000) by betting Five Thousand Leones (NLe 5,000) on each combination.

He said: “I feel really blessed to win again, and this time, it is my biggest win. I hope to keep winning with Mercury International.”

The proud Baker, who in May this year won Two Hundred Million Old Leones, also accounted for another win in September this year revealed that he had the opportunity to win even more — up to One Billion Six Hundred Million Leones — but chose to cash out early out of fear of losing.

He said: “If I had waited just a bit longer, I would’ve won much more, but I was nervous, and I decided to cash out. In the end, all 31 of my selected teams ended up winning.”

Mercury Shares Profit with Hennessy Street Community

On 2nd September 2025, the Mercury International Management and Retailers Charitable Foundation donated food items to the residents of Hennessy Street community, Kingtom.

Presenting the food items to the community people, the Public Relations Manager of the company, Alhaji Komba, said it is their usual procedure for the Management and Retailers’ Charitable Foundation to share their profits with customers and non-customers, adding that they have done similar donations to various communities and that today, it pleases them to do the same to the Kingtom Community.

Komba further stated that funding for the donation, like previous donations made to different communities across the city, is generated from a monthly profit derived from a joint managers and retailers account.

He, therefore, encouraged the people to continue patronising Mercury International by playing the different products of the company and becoming millionaires, and also stood to benefit from the monthly donations.

Komba, however, advised that Mercury games are only for customers 18 years and above.

Receiving the food items on behalf of the community, Madam Fatmata G. Lawo said they were overwhelmed to receive such a gesture from the management and retailers of Mercury International. Among the food items donated were bags of rice, gallons of cooking oil, cartons of sardines, bags of onion, bundles of pure water and different types of provisions worth over Le17 million.
