Sierra Leone’s leading Sports Betting and Lottery Company, Mercury International, continues with its unchallenged promotions in giving back to its loyal customers.

With its Exclusive Festival Promotion, the Company’s Online Department presented their star prize; an all-expense paid trip to Kenya, Nairobi, to lucky winner Solomon Davies.

Davies, who is a worker at Sierra Leone International Airport, will have to enjoy a five-day fully paid trip to Kenya with full accommodation and a sightseeing tour.

The young Davies who revealed he has been playing Mercury games for over five years, confessed  he was shocked and baffled to learn that he has emerged as the first price winner after being randomly selected by Mercury International service providers and partners in the UK.

Davies said, despite being shocked, he later felt truly blessed because, to be contacted amongst over millions of players was a blessing and a clear show of transparency by the company’s operational system.

“I know millions of people play more than I do, but I was fortunate to win. This will be my first time travelling out of Sierra Leone, and I am very grateful to Mercury International for this opportunity,” he said.

Lucky winner Davies also encouraged other customers to stay loyal to Mercury International, describing the company as “reliable and trustworthy.”

Mercury International Online Department Deputy Manager Octavus Jackson, after the presentation, said they are happy to see another Sierra Leonean smile as he secure his first time opportunity to travel outside the country”s shores through Mercury International Sports Betting  Company.

He said the idea behind the promotion was to give customers an experience beyond material prizes:

“Not everyone has the chance to travel outside Sierra Leone, so we decided to give our customers an opportunity to explore and experience life elsewhere.

Jackson revealed that the Exclusive Festival Promotion, which ran from May to July 2025, was designed to keep customers engaged during the off-season when major football leagues were not playing. Unlike previous promotions that only limit customers to one single game to qualify, this one allowed customers to qualify through both sports betting and Vegas games(Casino).

He said to earn a raffle ticket, customers had to spend at least NLe 20 daily on sports or turnover NLe 500 on Vegas games. Winners were selected randomly by Mercury’s service providers in the UK.
